Wenqi - Stadtführer in Xi’An

We had such a great time with Wenqi, she took us to some amazing food spots and had lots of interesting information about the area and what we were eating. She even managed to cater for the vegetarian members of the group and made sure the whole group got to try a range of delicious things. Wenqi is very engaging, fun to hang out with and really made our trip to Xi’an perfect!

The day after this tour, I ran into some Spanish travellers who asked me, “Don’t you get the feeling you’re eating the same thing every day?” And my answer was: call Wenqi! The food tour she gave us through the Muslim Quarter was an absolute feast. I even took some buns for breakfast. All of it came with great conversation and her infinite patience answering all our curious questions about China. Thank you Wenqi!

Wenqi was an absolutely amazing guide! I had such a good time learning about the local cuisine and trying out the most typical dishes of the area. Her English was fantastic and we had a great conversation along the way. I definitely made a good friend and cannot recommend her enough!

Loved this tour - we did 2 food tours in Xi'an and this one made more stops and was more enjoyable (although both were good). I highly recommend this tour!
