Rashid is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic but we felt he didn't use the time well. I recommend you ask him exactly where you're going and for how long and for how long before you start the tour.

I had a fantastic experience exploring Dar es Salaam with Rashid. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the tour, but what really stood out was how personalized the experience felt. We explored the city center, including the vibrant Kariakoo Market and the fish market, and he did a great job of taking me beyond the typical tourist experience. He was happy to answer questions, adjust the pace and focus based on my interests, and provide interesting context about the city, its people, culture, and daily life. I especially appreciated how comfortable and well looked-after I felt throughout the tour. His professionalism combined with his genuine personality made the experience feel more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend than simply taking a standard tour. If you’re visiting Dar es Salaam and want to see the city from a more authentic and personal perspective, I would definitely recommend booking a tour with him!

Die Stadtführung war sehr interessant und unterhaltsam. Rashid erzählte z.B. viele Details über die Lutherkirche und der Besuch des Fischmarktes wird sicher in Erinnerung bleiben . Es war eine gelungene Tour.

Rashid was a wonderful guide, he showed me so much of the city, was kind and patient since the second we met up, and he slowed down or sped up the tour depending on my interests; he also spent over 3hours with me. I really appreciated that he made me feel safe exploring as solo traveler.

Rashid was absolutely incredible! We learnt soooo much about the history and culture of Tanzania. The places he took us too were so authentic to the local lived experiences of the people of Dar Es Salaam and he made the whole experience so rich with the stories and context he provided us. His communication was on fleek. I would highly recommend his tour. You will not regret it. 5 out of 5!

I booked a full-day tour with Rashid, and he used our time in the best possible way. He showed me the most famous sights, but also mingled our tour with the local day-to-day life in Dar es Salaam. As I am living in Tanzania, I already know many things about the country’s history, but Rashid was still able to add many interesting facts. He is especially knowledgeable about the different tribes in Tanzania and their characteristics. I could decide on the pace of the tour and how many different places I wanted to see. As soon as I come back to Dar es Salaam, I will book another tour with Rashid so I don’t miss the many more stories he has to tell. Hongera sana!

We are two students from the netherlands and really really enjoyed the tour with Rashid. He explained us a lot about the history of Tanzania and little fun facts. We went to the fish market and kariakoo market and without him we would have felt lost!! We would recommend this tour 100%!!!! Thank you so much Rashid.
