Eskay was amazing. He definitely knew his history and information which was appealing to the group in wanting 'off the beaten path' experience around Georgetown. He was funny, mixing humour with his presentations to provide an interesting and entertaining afternoon in the hot sun.

Excellent walk with great food and restaurant recommendations. I would recommend a quick name/country of origin for group at the beginning 😊

I have participated in walking tours in multiple cities/countries (e.g., Barcelona, Rome, and Marrakesh), so I am writing this review with a fairly broad basis for comparison. I would rate Southbeast Asia Heritage as the most professional. We were each provided with a headset and a well-written information booklet. The group wasn't large. The tour was more than 3 hours, but it remained engaging throughout. Highly recommended.

Eskay made the tour so entertaining and informative! I learnt a lot even as a Singaporean, where we share similar history as Penang. Eskay even treated us to some really delicious samosas and milk tea! I enjoyed the tour thoroughly!

Amazing tour from JS, he is such a passionate and knowledgeable guide! He provided so much information and interesting facts about the history of Georgetown and had an answer to all my questions! He provided great food recommendations as well and even took me to try some of the local cuisine. Would definitely recommend!

The energy and enthusiasm of Eskay rubs on to you and you dont realise how the 3 hours passed. Lovely stories and look at Penang from a very different angle. Enjoyed the walk. Recomended to all do it with Uncle Eskay.

Honestly, we thought that we would never make the length of the walk in the heat of Penang, but Vincent was so interesting he made it a pleasure to be there and learning all the interesting facts. "Yep", as he asks us to call him, is an excellent tour guide -- entertaining, knowledgeable and considerate. This is a walking tour of mostly traditional neighborhoods in George Town, with some extra treats thrown in. An excellent three hours, even in the heat!

Yeap was a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable and friendly. He was super helpful, easy going and very thoughtful. We love the little treats along the way, Michelin star samosas, iced tea & chocolate sampling. We highly recommend this walking tour!

We loved the tour with Eskay. He had a lot of knowledge and delivered it with a great sense of humour. I really enjoyed the places he took us, into the back streets and away from all of the highly touristy areas.

This is an absolute brilliant walking tour of George Town. Eskay has created a really interesting route through the town which takes in lots of history, art and culture. Eskay is a phenomenal guide and super knowledgeable. We got to see some touristy sites but also learnt lots of things we wouldn't know otherwise.

This was a fabulous tour. Vincent was so informative and was able to genuinely answer our questions. He covered so many different areas of the historic part of Penang and his general knowledge was honest and easy to listen too. We went over the 3 hours and the four of us could’ve kept listening to his stories and information about the history of Penang. We old definitely recommend this tour and Vincent.

JS is a very knowledgeable tour guide who goes out of his way to give tourists an excellent walking tour experience. We also got to tastes some local cuisine that we wouldn’t have known to try. Would really recommend it!
