I'm an outgoing self driven person who loves meeting new people and making new friends..
I started doing this two years ago and find this interesting because of meeting and sharing other people's culture.
Stella and Elijah shown me around Kibera and the community. They are originally from the area.I felt safe in their hands and got to learn a lot about the way of life in the area. I would highly recommend this tour as it is very informative and educational. Please show some love and get your haircut at Elijah's barbershop also. Thank you guys ❤️
Really interesting walk around Kibera with a very friendly Elijah !
Thank you to Stella and Elijah. Our tour with them was wonderful. We were genuinely surprised and delighted by how authentic the experience was, surrounded by such kind and joyful people, even given the circumstances — perhaps even more cheerful than in Nairobi itself! At no point did we feel unsafe. They are truly remarkable people who take on the great responsibility of educating and creating opportunities for children and the wider community. The guided tour was fantastic — the respect and admiration they receive from those around them clearly reflect the incredible work they’re doing. We felt both impressed and fortunate to experience it.
Stella and her brother are soooo nice, really friendly and be the meeting point ontime, show us so much detail about Kibera slum, especially we tried the local hair salon and delicious food there!! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit Kibera!!
Been such a good tour with stella and her brother elijah. We were really suprised and enjoyed the authentic tour among very friendly and happy people despite the circumstances, (if not friendlier and happier than in nairobi itslef). It was not dangerous at all, not a single person asked us for money (well one actually) or tried to hustle us... Also some people are worried its a tour of pity and misery .... ITS Not at ALL!!!
