Hello, I am Candelaria, I was born a traveller, it is in my genes, my first plane ride was at 9 days old. I first came to Morocco in 1987 as a young backpacker. It definitively made a huge impression on me, but I never imagined I would end up living here. Chaouen is my home since 2004. I will be delighted to show you around town, and hopefully you will understand why Chefchaouen is so special, way beyond its famous blue walls. I have learnt that people enjoy seeing Chaouen through my eyes, a foreigner very well adapted to a culture so different to my own. I speak Spanish, English, French, Italian, Arabic and Portuguese and have lived in many countries. I love good food, nature and hospitality, which are the reasons why I do this. I own a small guest house (Riad Jibli) which keeps me busy, my life is quite simple in this sweet town.
A very informative, engaging, personable and accommodating visit of Chefchaouen. She also helped us do shopping with reputable local artisans. A very worthwhile tour!
Candelaria is an amazing person and guide for this tour! She is so knowledgeable about everything and will help you find out anything you need (information, food recommendations, shopping). I had an amazing time with her and hope to see her again one day! 🫶
Nothing negative to say, she even made us visit her home to see and experience a traditional riad in Chefchaouen
Candeleria is very knowledgeable about Chefchaouen and Moroccan culture. We were taken to many areas outside the usual tourist traps and learnt how the ordinary person lives in this pretty town. This is a worthwhile experience - highly recommend 👏
Candelaria was a wonderful tour guide. We went on her tour on our second day in Chefchaouen and prior to meeting her we weren't keen on the place felt it was too touristy and with too many souvenir shops. She showed us a completely different side to the area and we ended up loving Chefchaouen. She was also kind enough to share her own garden and home with us. Thanks again we really enjoyed your tour
