Ex avvocato diventata imprenditrice, Ping ha gestito il primo ostello per backpacker di Singapore appositamente costruito per quasi 20 anni, prima che il COVID-19 ne costringesse la chiusura. Appassionata di storia con un immenso amore per tutto ciò che riguarda Singapore, Ping ha fondato On-A-Roll-Tours nel 2023 per continuare il suo percorso di aiuto ai viaggiatori organizzando e accompagnandoli in free walking tour e/o in monopattino. I suoi tour accompagnano i partecipanti in un'avventura narrativa unica, con l'obiettivo di offrire loro una conoscenza approfondita di Singapore in modo piacevole e memorabile. For a walking tour that covered beauty (e.g. flowers), roads that even I (a fellow Singaporean) had not been to, sights, smells and taste, and not to mention the many gods and fascinating stories, the group was audibly disappointed when the tour ended. Delightful tour; plenty of information, not just of the Kampong Glam area, but about the history, diverse culture and society of Singapore as a whole. Ping had great insights and recommendations, and was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. 10/10 would recommend!
Would absolutely recommend a tour with Ping to both tourists and locals. I took the Little India tour and it was fantastic. I learned so much and Ping even included some food tastings. She was enthusiastic, professional and easy to understand. She was conscientious about finding shady places for us to stand or offering us umbrellas. Ping has lived and worked in Little India for two decades, so you are really getting a local’s perspective. I also work as a food tour guide in Stockholm and I would love to have her as a colleague as well as a guide!
Ping is a wonderful guide—very kind and attentive, always making sure we’re all doing well. She even shared her personal experiences to help us better understand Singapore’s environment and society, which I especially appreciated. Highly recommended!
