This tour was very interesting. Jorge, today’s guide, communicated very well in English, sharing various stories and plenty of information. It was two hours well spent. I definitely recommend it.

Jorge (Chino) was SUPER informative and HIGHLY entertaining! We enjoyed exploring MVD so much with him and he provided many interesting features and stories involving the history and culture of the city. It was such a pleasure to be on this tour which was extremely well organized. I'm sure he has dont this hundreds of times but he made it fresh and interesting! LOVED.

Chino is well-versed in the history of Montevideo and proud of his heritage. He is experienced in making salient facts "stick" by pop quizzing us AND teaching us in a way that we could recall salient details about the fascinating history of Uruguay. I fell in love with his country, and MATE, through Chino.

Great insights into Uruguay, highly recommended

This was a GREAT tour! Jorge took us all over the old part of Montevideo, telling us all about the buildings we saw and showing us some great museums that we would never have found otherwise. I’m so glad we found Jorge and took this tour!

El tour fue fantástico. Nos encontramos frente al hotel Sofitel con Paola, hicimos un recorrido dentro del lujoso hotel y luego caminamos varias cuadras por los sitios más iconicos del barrio de Carrasco entre los que se destacan la Iglesia Stella Maris y el bar Arocena entre otros. Realmente recomendable.

the tour with chino was great! fun guy who was able to answer all our questions and shared a lot of interesting facts about customs in uruguay. i wish i had more cash to tip, but the guides don’t accept argentinien pesos, which is very understandable, but for a quick trip i didn’t exchange any cash.
