He gave us insight into culture, Uruguayan society, its values and what it reveres most. We know now the real know of Uruguay and how Montevideo got its name. It was a great way to see the city and to learn about a South American country that stands uniquely apart

Our tour of historic Montevideo with George was wonderful. He is an historian with wonderful knowledge of his city and country. We learned so much from him. His English was perfect and his sense of humour was excellent. The time with him flew by and we would recommend anyone to book with him. He made us fall in love with Montevideo.

Excellent! This was our first time doing a free tour so we weren't sure what to expect. Our guide, Jorge, was knowledgable, funny, and engaging. We're very glad we signed up. Also very convenient for cruise ship passengers.

George (sorry I didn’t catch his actual name) was a very energetic and engaging guide who kept my attention throughout the tour. He was informative, was able to answer a range of questions and provided good recommendations which is appreciated. A few more stops around the city could have improved it but aware that the historic centre only has so much to show and other places are further away.

George ( Jorge) was great. He was funny, informative, easy to understand. The route took us along some of the most important sites in the old town. The history was very good, it gave us the basic history of Uruguay and Montevideo. Definitely recommend this tour. 5/5

We enjoyed a walking tour of historical Montevideo with Juan Pablo as our guide. JP was very knowledgeable and had a great style. His presentation skills are top notch. The 2.5 hour tour ends at the famous Mecado de Puerto food hall. We, of course, indulged. I highly recommend this tour with Juan Pablo.

A comprehensive tour of downtown Montevideo. Great information not only for the sights but also for the mentality of the locals. Juan Pablo has a talent for storytelling but also understands the perspective of a foreigner.
