We had a fantastic tour with Ana! She was lovely, polite and extremely knowledgeable, explaining Romanian history and culture in a clear and engaging way. The tour flowed naturally through the Old Town, covering everything from French and Byzantine architectural influences to the communist period and the 1989 Revolution. Ana also had a brilliant sense of humour, especially when talking about Romania’s architectural influences and the story of Vlad the Impaler and Dracula. She managed to make everything entertaining while remaining informative and composed. She was happy to answer questions and gave us some great local recommendations, too. Highly recommended if you want to discover Bucharest’s history, culture and hidden gems with a wonderful guide!
