It was a very good tour! Youness knows a lot and the walk was nice. Even afterwards he sent us a lot of information about the rest of Marocco and good tips. Youness a really nice guy and we had a great time.

The tour with Youness was fun we did love that city. What we found not right was that on Guruwalk description of the tour you can read: “a guruwalk is a pay-what-you-want walking tour" which means every walker would tip accordingly with their experience with the tour but the minimum tip for this tour is 200Dh/20€ each. When we finished the tour we found it a but awkward. We wondered: should this tour be on a platform that offer pay-what-you-want walking tours? It can be really misleading for people who book the tour. It also kills the authenticity of free tours where you tip what you want based on your experience. So I would advise people to read the whole description of the Guruwalk tours before they book.

If you are in Rabat for sure I recommend this experience, Youness was an excellente guide but also a friend, he likes to share his knowledge about his culture and makes the experience so enriching, after the tour I had the opportunity to meet the association he is working on and share a really really good time. For us as tourists, try to understand and appreciate the time and effort he is giving for you to have a nice experience so you can reward him in a fair way. Thanks for all Youness!
