Youness the guide is a really nice guy who is eager to please. He needs to get his act together and provide his client with a prepared speech and description of the places and history of what he is going to show them. Waiting for them to come up with questions is unprofessional. Good luck Youness ,you can do it!

Response from Youness:

Thanks a lot Lynn, This is Good to know.

This was less of a cultural immersion walking tour and more of a walk with a companion who knew where they are going. Youness was friendly enough but didn’t really give us any information or history on Rabat. He showed us the Hassan tower, the mausoleum, Kasbah and souk as outlined but at each location we were left to ourselves to take pictures. The highlight was actually when we stopped for a tea and one of his friends who was a official tour guide was there and he gave us an outline of the history of the dynasties. Wasn’t an unpleasant experience, just not what we expected.
