This was probably my 5th visit to Amsterdam, and Sam was able to make me feel like it was the 1st. All details he shared during the tour were full of emotion, history and curiosities. His teaching background plus his experience as an actor make him one of the best tour guides I ever had the chance to meet in 10y of free tours around Europe. He also keeps his tours below 15 participants to make them more personal.
This was one of the most pleasant tours we've attended. Karel (I hope I wrote it correctly) is a great guide, with a pleasant approach, knowledgeable and evidently loving what he is doing (they all say it, but not all mean it, let's be clear). Not too loud, but after some time you get adjusted and it's no issue, therefore smaller groups. So, we were, after a long time, satisfied after a "free tour"
Thank you to Karol. Wonderfully informative, very engaging and fun too.
Karel is absolutely amazing! It is a pleasure to take part. Highly recommended
The tour with Sam was great fun. He surprised us with information you would never have expected. We learned a lot about the history of Amsterdam, the light and the dark moments. Thanks for the great tour! I can only recommend it to everyone!
