Free Tour Legends and Mysteries of Malaga (only for adults)

At dusk, the capital of the Costa del Sol is transformed into a cluster of mysteries. Let yourself be amazed on this free tour of the mysteries and legends of Malaga . You will be amazed! This is an Adults Only Activity.

At the appointed time, we will meet in the Plaza de la Merced , next to the obelisk of the Monument to Torrijos . Here we will begin our free tour of the mysteries and legends of Malaga , which will allow us to learn about the most disturbing events in the capital of the Costa del Sol.

First, we will learn about the story of the execution of General Torrijos and his 48 companions, who were executed in Malaga in 1831 for their liberal thinking. Did you know that in Madrid's Prado Museum there is a painting that recreates this moment?

Next, we will go into the historic centre of Malaga to learn about dark stories such as the murder of the child Manolito or the mystery of Cortijo Jurado. We will also discover how the Holy Inquisition acted in the city, and we will talk about the plague epidemics that affected the entire city.

We will continue the tour learning about the mystery of the Cister Street poltergeist and, after 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking, we will finish the free tour next to the Alcazaba, learning the history of its ghosts and a unique shower of stones.
