London under a different point of view! - Free Walking Tour

Duration: 3h
Languages: English, Italian

I am a very friendly, easy going person. I am driven by curiosity and passion. My biggest passions are art, literature and History. I can speak fluent english, Italian and a spanish beginner level. Whilst at school I undertook work experience as a tour guide in my home town, Salerno, introducing visitors to the history and art that could be found there (and as well some funny facts) as these are my biggest passions. I delivered these tours in both Italian and English, and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with people from around the world. As a result, I developed the skills to retain a large amount of knowledge and effectively deliver this to large groups of people. Furthermore, I continued in the tourism and hospitality field, and from my experience I gained self confidence and the ability to communicate smoothly with people. I moved in London back in 2016 and I fell in love with it. During my days I usually go around exploring what the city can offer under different aspects. I am a very curious person, very friendly and approachable, a "people-person" which I think is an important feature in a tour guide.

Tour description

This tour mixes both the contemporary and modern and the Historic side of the City, which is what London is based on: a mix of modernity and antiquity. You will stroll along the river with me, passing by breathtaking monuments and modern beauty, such as the Shard and the City Hall. It is my favourite walk around London, as it shows as well that you can reach every main areas walking, no matter how big and vast the city is. When I moved to London, back in 2016, I was nineteen. London is big and can be scary, but there is so much to do and to see that eventually I fell in love with this city and I finally felt as I belonged. London is a bit the centre of the world, if we only think about Greenwich, the home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and yes, is a London Borough! Also the you can find the most iconic skyline, even if the old Big Ben is currently covered because under major makeover, there is so much more to compensate. What I most love about London is the fact that you can find literally every kind of entertainment: Fancy a posh place to shopping mixed with a vintage market and nice streets, crowded with both independent cafes and and pretty restaurants? Covent Garden is the place for you. More in the mood for a punk rock and alternative day? Head to Camden town. London gave me (and still gives me) a lot to work on and discover and is the right place for someone passionate about cultures and tourism. What we are going to visit in London? 1. Borough Market 2. The Golden Hind 3. London Bridge 4.The Shard 5. The Hay's Galleria 6. City Hall 7. Tower Bridge 8. Tower of London 9.Walk around Monument and if possible 10. St. Paul's Cathedral
