About the tour

The tour will start at the city centre walking past the city buildings which will give you a historical and architectural beauty of the city. You will have an opportunity to learn about the history of mankind in the Kenyan museum and later visit the Uhuru public park to where you will have the best spot to view the city in the tower and visit the Nyayo historical monument.

In the mid morning,you will walk into the Maasai open air market where you will meet with local community members selling soveniors and you will have the opportunity not only to buy soveniors in a fair price directly from the locals but also learn in how they make beads and other items .You will have a resting moment at the city Coffee house or Java house to get a taste of Kenyan Coffee and cuisine.

In the afternoon,we will head to the North of the city to Bomas of Kenya where you will discover Kenya's rich cultural diversity. The Bomas of Kenya is a village constructed to represent elements of each of Kenya's 42 ethnic group. Here you will experience the rich culture as they live in day to day basis. You will be treated to live performances of traditional dances,music,songs, folklore and acrobats shows .It is also a wonderful place to experience the tastes of different Kenyan traditional dishes from different communities in the Utamaduni restaurant.

The tour will end with a visit to the Giraffes Minor hotel ,a home of Rothschild giraffes that regularly visit the Manor House in search of treats and you can enjoy your dinner here.A truly romantic setting ,where they are bound to enjoy the overall ambiences ,the exciting culinery experience and extremely hospital services.The Manor is also a home to lush green gardens,inviting sunny terraces and wonderful court yards. The most unforgettable experience here is feeding the Giraffes from the window as they always visit the Hotel for treats and get that birthday kiss from the tallest animal in the world. You will then be transferred back to your hotel or to the city centre.
