Free Tour Alhambra Nasrid
Tour description
If you missed out on a ticket to the Alhambra or feel like seeing some free areas with explanations from an official guide... This is your tour!
On this tour, you will learn about the history of the conquest of Granada and the Alhambra.
The first explanation of the tour will be at the monumental Christian gate of the Granadas. We will walk through the Alhambra forest and then, after explaining the Justice Gate of the Alhambra, we will enter the surroundings.
Next, the first construction of the Alhambra, the Alcazaba, will be explained from the outside, along with its history and traditions, as well as the Renaissance and elegant Palace of Charles V, where we can enter for free and visit the Alhambra museum (except on Mondays).
Other points of the visit will include the Arab baths, the Church of St. Mary (with the possibility of seeing it inside), or the Parador of San Francisco, full of history that not even many Granadans know!
With this tour, you can start "whetting your appetite" and get to know the most important aspects of the Alhambra's history.
Important:
- Come to the tour with comfortable shoes.
- Children do not need to book.
- A financial contribution is expected at the end of the tour to appreciate the guide's work and to continue offering these routes.
At the end of the tour, I recommend good places to eat, also to taste the best tapas, and I advise you on the best museums to visit, whether free or not, as well as charming places to enjoy without a ticket.
