Punta del Este , some call it Miami or the Saint Tropez of South America , we like to preserve its origins and show how it developed in the glamorous city that it is today . Being the most touristic city in Uruguay, we want to tell you the secrets that made it the diva of summer in the Río de la Plata and why it is an excellent option for the whole year. We are on the monument of "the hand" and from there we start a journey of two and a half hours to show you the best of Punta and talk about the Uruguayan idiosyncrasy. Some of the points visited are:

Germán was an excellent guide for the Punta del Este walking tour. I visited during the off-season and honestly wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by how engaging, insightful, and informative the tour was. Germán is knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, and thoughtful, and it was clear he genuinely cares about sharing the story of the city. The stops he chose made the tour interesting and gave great context to both the history of Punta del Este and its future development.
