My name is Samir and I am a professor of History and Anthropology at the University of Cienfuegos. The history and culture of my country and my city are my great passion. I am also a simple person who likes to talk and share my knowledge with others. That is why this tour that I propose is a unique experience, which aims to take the visitor on a kind of journey through the 200-year history of the so-called Pearl of the South. It is also an opportunity to learn about the daily life of today's Cuban society, and to live and admire the spirit and identity of a city considered Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Visit the places of greatest historical-cultural, heritage and natural interest in the area such as:
- We will meet where the Malecón de Cienfuegos begins at Calle 37, Avenida 38.
- It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking, wear glasses and sun protection.
- Please, it is recommended to book at least one day in advance and in case you cannot attend for any reason, communicate it in time.
- Keep in mind that part of the money you pay for this GuruTour will be used to support the Office of the Curator of the City of Cienfuegos in its Sociocultural projects and in the protection and conservation of Local Heritage.
