Isabell was a wonderful guide. She explained everything quite thoroughly so a lot of information was received as we viewed some of the sites in Playa del Carmen.

Isabella is a wonderful guide! She started by setting the scene and giving us a fascinating introduction to Maya history and culture, as well as the more recent history of Playa del Carmen and the challenges the city and region face today. We were very lucky to be the only participants, so we essentially had a private tour. Isabella took us to hidden backyards and locally owned shops that we would never have discovered on our own. She was incredibly knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. What made the tour especially unique was that Isabella also shared her personal perspective on the world, current challenges, and possible solutions. This led to some really interesting conversations, and we were happy to actively participate and exchange ideas. A truly authentic and insightful experience — highly recommended if you want to see Playa del Carmen beyond the usual tourist spots!

We had an incredible walking tour with Isabella! She was fantastic, deeply passionate, and remarkably knowledgeable about the rich history of Playa del Carmen and Mayan culture. Beyond her impressive expertise, Isabella’s warmth, humor, and open personality made the entire experience thoroughly engaging and fun from start to finish. We truly enjoyed her company and learned so much along the way. If you are visiting Playa del Carmen, taking a tour with Isabella is an absolute must! Greetings from Germany, Poland and Kazakhstan;)

We have taken the tour twice; both times taking two guests with us and both times with Isabelle as our guide. She is a wonderful guide and the flow of the tour is excellent. She suggested the amount of donation per person and it worked out to $20 Canadian/person. Very good value for this tour.

Isabella gave an informative and entertaining tour. An unexpected highlight was a trip to a local chocolate shop for a tasting. Very special.

Isabel gave me lots of information not only regarding Playa del Carmen but also in many different aspects. I was the only one attended the walking tour and it was perfect for me to ask her many questions. It was kind of perfect private guided tour.
