What are we going to see?
We meet next to the tourist office at the park of Mar to discover the origin of the islands and on our walk around the iconic Palace of Almudaina, the center of power on the island for centuries, and the charming gardens of S'Hort del Rei, we will discover how the city was founded by Romans, shaped by Muslims, and immortalized by Christians.
We will walk along the Paseo del Borne, following the old course of the Torrent de Sa Riera, to the picturesque church of San Nicolás and we will go up to the upper part of the city to the Plaza de Cort, km 0 of the island, presided over by a centuries-old olive tree and buildings of great architectural beauty such as the Town Hall and the Consell de Mallorca, discovering curious historical figures, traditions, and folklore of the island.
Exploring the surroundings of Santa Eulalia, considered the first church in the city, we will talk about the Jewish Quarters and the emblematic Patios of Palma immersing ourselves in legends and traditions. Additionally, I will share with you gastronomic recommendations to enjoy the local flavors.
