Free booking and cancellationFree payment tour, no set price, booking and cancellation are free
I was born in this beautiful country of Montenegro and I believe that all people, at least once in their lives, should visit it. It is great for all types of travelers, whether those who like to travel full of adrenaline or those who like slow and easy days. Accordingly, I am ready to offer city tours lasting 2-3 hours, or on special requests, weekend gastro-wine tours, or full-day tours in Montenegro. For more information about private tours don't hesitate to contact me here.
If no schedules are available for the selected date, please get in touch with me. Maybe someone won’t come but didn’t cancel.
Please cancel your booking at least 24 hours prior if you are not genuinely interested in my tour. Last-minute cancelation in less than 24 hours doesn’t help. Other walkers plan in advance, and they’ll find the tour unavailable because of the false bookings.
The tour starts in the oldest part of Podgorica city, in front of the Clock Tower, at Becir Beg Osmanagic Square.
As we walk along the narrow streets of “Old Varosh,” you will see essential monuments and townhouses and learn more about the old part of the city, its medieval ramparts, and the old bridge at the confluence of two rivers.
From the Ottoman period to the latest history, I am going to tell you some exciting stories.
The tour ends in front of the Fountain at Independence Square.
Tour Include (mention):
Additional Information:
The tour includes walking on stairs, but nothing strenuous. Choose walking shoes/sneakers that perform equally well in changing weather conditions. Also, don’t forget to bring water and a hat/sunscreen during summer. I’ll try to find some shade, though :)
IMPORTANT: MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS:
- Summer - 3
- Rest of the year - 2
(If this number is not reached, the booking will be canceled).
- The tour will be called off if a hailstorm or heavy rain leads to street flooding along the route or being unsafe due to hail stones.
- During the summer, the tour will be canceled if the temperature goes above 38° Celsius.
I will be in front of the Clock Tower, near benches with a view to the clock.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
