Tour description

welcome to Medellín!

My name is Sara and I invite you to live a great experience in the touristic and non-touristic part of the Comuna 13 of Medellin, accompanied by a local guide.

Our guides will share with you their history and that of their families, in that time of violence with the different armed groups and at the end, you will witness how social transformation was achieved, through urban art (Hip Hop culture).

You will get to know the authentic part (NOT touristy of stairs and quiet alleys) and the touristy with artistic murals, explained by your guide, street shows, (dances and improvisation) you will be able to make your own graffiti, you will go up to the viewpoint, by means of the mechanical escalators from where you will enjoy a great view.

You will also find urban art galleries, souvenir sales, the traditional ice cream of Comuna 13 (mango, biche and maracumango), typical gastronomy and much more.

At the end of the tour, if you wish, you can continue exploring more of the Comuna on your own.

NOT INCLUDING:

visit to Cristo, Pachamama, Gorila, etc. (these are expensive and long lines)

If you come by Metro, you must get to the San Javier station, line B and outside the station (main exit) there are some green buses, route 225i with a value of COP 2.250, in cash, metro cívica card or bank card. We will be waiting for you at the last bus stop. There are also taxi to get to our meeting point.
