The Real Mexico City: Visiting a Non Touristy Neighborhood
Hi, I'm Diego Ruvalcaba, a professional tour guide with more than 6 years of experience in Mexico City and Wroclaw, Poland. In 2016, I was honored to be nominated for Citizen of the Year in Mexico for my contributions as an activist. As a passionate explorer of my city, I take pride in revealing the hidden gems that are often overlooked by tourists. Whether delving into the fascinating history and culture of the area or exploring the most charming neighborhoods, I guarantee a unique and unforgettable experience. With a master's degree in Sociology, I have a deep understanding of the social issues, politics, and economy that shape Mexico City. I love engaging in thought-provoking conversations with my guests, giving them a unique perspective on the local culture, lifestyle, and customs of the city. Join me on a tour and let me show you my city in a way you've never seen before. You will be amazed by the stories, secrets and surprises waiting to be discovered around every corner. Book your tour with me today and get ready for an adventure of a lifetime!
Tour description
Do you think that CDMX is something more than Roma, Condesa, city center, or Coyoacán? Do you want to go to a real neighborhood in Mexico City? Then this tour is for you.
We will be walking through the emblematic, traditional, and oldest neighborhood of the city, the hidden gem of Mexico City: Santa María la Ribera.
This is a tour of an unconventional and non-touristy place. You will get a taste of the real Mexico City and see how mexicans really live. A tour for professional tourists. A tour without filters, where you will see the best and the worst of the city.
We will visit the largest library in Latin America, we will see beautiful churches, and museums and will experience real life in the city, going into the streets, houses, and parks.
You will be accompanied by a local bilingual guide, with more than 30 years of living in the place.
Tour is not suitable for kids, teenagers or reduced mobility people.
