Hi my name is Matej Eber and I founded Free Walking Tour Leipzig in 2017. After I came to Leipzig as an Erasmus student, fell in love with the city and decided to stay. Currently, Plagwitz has turned itself around once more and has become a center for street art, the creative industries, international cuisine, and dive pubs. Come along on this three-hour trip as we examine the roots of "Hypezig," the history of industrialization, graffiti, alternative bars, Spätis, and thrift shops.
