📍 Tour Itinerary
1. Rani Pokhari
The tour begins at Rani Pokhari, a 17th-century royal pond built by King Pratap Malla. Recently restored, it represents traditional Newar architecture and carries deep historical and cultural significance.
2. Durbar High School
Visit Nepal’s first school, established in 1854. The beautifully renovated neoclassical building reflects Nepal’s early education system and important historical developments.
3. Asan Bazaar
Walk through Asan, one of the oldest and busiest traditional markets in Kathmandu. Experience local life as you explore narrow alleys filled with spices, vegetables, textiles, brassware, and religious items.
4. Seto Machhendranath Temple
Discover this sacred temple worshipped by both Hindus and Buddhists. Known for its intricate wood carvings and serene courtyard, the temple plays a significant role in Kathmandu’s spiritual traditions.
5. Ittum Bahal
A peaceful, ancient Buddhist monastic courtyard featuring carved windows, stone statues, prayer wheels, and centuries-old spiritual heritage. A quiet escape from the busy city streets.
6. Yatkha Bahal
Explore another traditional Newar courtyard rich in Buddhist culture, with beautiful chaityas, monasteries, and historic architecture that showcase the depth of Kathmandu’s spiritual history.

Looking forward to meeting you! 🙏 📍 Himalayan Java Coffee – Thamel Chowk Location Description Himalayan Java Coffee at Thamel Chowk is one of the most central and easy-to-find landmarks in Kathmandu. The café sits right at the busy intersection where Thamel Marg meets Tridevi Sadak (Tripureshwor/Tridevi Sadak). It is located on the corner of the junction, surrounded by popular shops, trekking stores, restaurants, and souvenir stalls. The café has a large signboard, outdoor seating, and constant foot traffic, making it very noticeable. 🗺️ Landmarks Nearby • Directly across from Northfield Café • A few steps from Chhetrapati side • On the main road leading from Tridevi Sadak into the heart of Thamel • Close to major hotels, bars, and trekking gear shops 🚶‍♂️ How to Get There If you're entering Thamel from Tridevi Sadak, walk straight until you reach the first big intersection — you will see Himalayan Java Coffee on the corner to your left. If you're inside Thamel, simply head toward Thamel Chowk, and the café will be right at the crossing where most taxis and travelers gather.
