Karakoz is a bundle of energy. We not only got an insight into the history and culture of Kazhakhstan, but we also got her individual perspective as a local about her country and her city. She not only guided the group but kept us engaged throughout, with her sense of humour, local stories and lived experiences. Great job, Kurakoz!

I’ve been on loads of these tours all around the world, and this was the best yet. Aiguerim was incredibly knowledgeable about the sights and Kazakhstan culture in general, and she really went above and beyond. My friend and I both agreed after several days in Almaty that this was the highlight of our trip. 10/10.

The tour was quite extensive, we’ve reached pretty much all of the most important locations in the center of Almaty. Danil was very sweet and polite. Very nice tour.

Als besonderes Highlight haben wir im Anschluss gemeinsam drei lokale Spezialitäten – Jourt, Kamelmilch und Pferdefleisch – probiert. Ein rundum gelungener Ausflug, den ich nur wärmstens empfehlen kann!

Excellent free walking tour and a great introduction to Almaty. It was the perfect way to see the city’s main highlights in a short amount of time while learning much more than you would on your own. The guide shared a lot of interesting background information about Almaty, and the city’s history, making the places we visited much more meaningful. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get a good overview of the city and its culture.

I'm so glad I joined Amy's tour as a solid foundation to Almaty and Kazakhstan. She's a ray of sunshine in an otherwise "cold" region. She also touched on the general overview of how things are like here from locals perspective, which later helped me to appreciated the pieces on display at the Almaty Musuem of Arts. Green Bazaar was definitely a highlight too with all the tastings available, and you'd get some guidance on what's an appropriate price range to pay when you return. Amy's tour is a must

Aiguerim was a fantastic guide! She gave us a lot of insights into Kazakh history and culture, had practical tips and showed us great sights in Almaty. As it was Monday, the bazaar was closed but instead she took us to the chocolate factory and we got to try delicious chocolate. After the tour, she sent us a lot of follow up info and even helped us with other questions we had.

This tour was absolutely amazing thanks to our excellent guide. She was so helpful, interesting and knowledgeable. She accompanied us to all the landmarks and explained us all the info about them. The tour in the green bazar became a real “food taste”. The tour is absolutely recommended!!!

This was a great walking tour to get to know a bit more about Almaty and Kazakhstan. It was just the two of us on the tour, and the Green Bazaar was closed so we were able to pivot the tour and take a more relaxed approach which I enjoyed. Karakoz was friendly and a great guide!

Karakoz is a great guide, always keeping everyone engaged which is not an easy thing to do! Apart from that, she's funny and very knowledgeable about Almaty and Kazakhstan!

I didn't have that much time in Almaty so taking the tour with Aiguerim was great for exploring many places in the city within a short time. She was very friendly and excited about the information she was providing. Because we were a small group and all very interested she took even more time than originally planned to answer all our questions. Great tour - definitely worth it!! :)

Die Tour mit Aiguerim war sehr informativ - sie hat uns sehr viel über ihre Heimat erzählen können. Ich kann die Tour sehr empfehlen. Es gab sehr viele tolle Empfehlungen. Für mich persönlich war die Tour ein wenig zu lang und die Beine wurden schwer bei dem vielen Stehen - aber das ist mein persönliches Empfinden. Die Tour ist wirklich toll!

Anna is very knowledgeable and could answer any questions. We went to very fun places and tried loads of local food. Would highly recommend this tour!
