Karakoz was very informative and organised. She gave us options to visit a few places along the way and recommended a few other places/restuarants/bars to visit afterwards. We liked very much Karakoz's walking tour.

This walking tour is truly one of its kind, covering almost all the highlights Almaty has to offer as a city (apart from the mountains). Kudos to Aiguerim for thoughtfully putting it together. The only downside is that at 4 hours long, it can feel a little tiring or stretched towards the end — but that doesn’t take away from the effort she puts in to make you feel welcomed in Kazakhstan and to share so much valuable information about this fascinating place. The more you engage with her and fellow participants, the less exhausting it feels and the more enjoyable it becomes. Overall, it’s a great way to experience, see, and learn more about Almaty. Highly recommended!

Since I was the only one on this tour, I felt like I was walking and seeing sights of Almaty with a young old friend. She is friendly and very knowledgeable about not just the places she was showing me but in general about Kazakhstan and Central Asia. As we chatted, I came to know that she’s lived in couple of other countries, and that gives her the understanding of us ‘foreigners’, better able to explain what we’d be more interested in. Young and enthusiastic she seems happy and proud to show us her beautiful city.

The tour was very pleasant. She showed deeply knowledge of the city and it's story. Beside the sightseeings, we went to places where the locals go.

The tour is quite long and it gets better when you start asking questions, as many information might not be directly transmitted because its not main stream. I really enjoyed the personal side offered by my guide, but I found disrespectful people who would be just talking or minding their business in the middle of the guide intervention.
