My partner and I took the Almaty walking tour with Aiguirem, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Even though we were the only two people on the tour, she was fully prepared before we arrived and treated it with complete professionalism. She guided us extensively through the city, covering all the key sights while sharing rich insights into Almaty’s history, culture, and everyday life. Her storytelling kept us engaged for the entire four hours without it ever feeling rushed or tiring. Aiguerim is warm, compassionate, and genuinely empathetic, and she made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the tour. For anyone visiting Almaty, I highly recommend booking a tour with her!

Very nice and warm tour

Super tour! It was a small group, just me and another girl. We walked around the city like hanging out with friends. Aiguerim is a very nice person, she tried her best to help us, like asking for luggage storage, calling hostel, taking photos, she even helped me to book a ballet ticket. And she's a very professional guide who provides abundant and interesting information about Almaty and Kazakhstan. I strongly recommend.

Aiguerim was a stellar guide through and through. As other people have already written, she is knowledgeable, super friendly and passionate about her city. Her English is very good, too. This was definitely the best city tour I have ever taken, so glad I got to experience Almaty with her. Thank you so so much! Really hope to come back!! :)

Loved our walking tour with Karakoz. It was an intimate group - total 6 including the guide. It allowed for an excellent individualized tour. We learnt a lot about Kazakh history, diversity, traditions. Visit to the Green Bazaar was a highlight where we got to experience Kazakh culture firsthand. Karakoz did a fabulous job connecting us with must experience aspects of Kazakh life and food at the bazaar. The group clicked very well and we had so much fun that we ended up hanging out with Karakoz well beyond the tour completion time. It was a special Almaty walking tour experience that my son and I will fondly remember as a highlight of our visit to Almaty. Thank you Karakoz for an amazing tour!

She was incredible! and really good in history. Explained everything to us. All the interesting facts and stories. She also brings us to the hidden gems of the city. Almaty is such a beautiful place and it becomes more interesting and fun if you’re having the walking tour with the locals. You will surely have the best! Its a must do tour here. Karakoz is a pleasant guide, eager to share her personal story when necessary, introduces well her city and country.. however be prepared for basic English.

Aiguerim gave us a memorable history, cultural treat a beautiful 4 hour walk with many cultural stops. The market experience and tasting was amazing. Her history knowledge and help with our needs and questions were superb. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Throughout my trip she also helped me with booking of fine cultural experiences like Ayul Restaurant and Sandq. Also advised me to get my ballet ticket, shopping and even a fancy spa hammam. Excellent introduction to Almaty and Kazakhstan. Superb engagement and interaction. I was dubious of how long the tour would be and people losing interest, especially as it was raining, but it was a great tour.

Anna was great! It was fantastic to hear the fascinating history of Almaty and Kazakhstan as well as her lively stories. We were a small group so it was very friendly and personal. The tour visits a limited portion of the city centre but being able to shop and do tastings in the market with a local to explain was a highlight!
