Free tour: The Masterpieces of the Prado with a Restorer! 😊

I propose a tour through the largest and most important painting gallery in the world, the Prado Museum, during which we will address the most outstanding artists and masterpieces. 

First, we will learn a bit about the origins of both the building that houses the museum, and the collections.
Next, following a chronological order, we will explore the centuries between the 15th and 19th, with a special emphasis on those artists who worked in Spain or for the Spanish Monarchy. From Bosch, through Titian, El Greco, Rubens, or Velázquez (among others), to Goya, we will familiarize ourselves with the Flemish, Italian, and Spanish schools.

What will we see?
1- Origins of the building and the collections.

2- European Renaissance 15th century: Rogier Van der Weyden, Hans Memling, Bosch, Joaquim Patinir, Fra Angelico, Dürer, Raphael, and a surprise work ;)

3- European Renaissance 16th century: Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese, El Greco.

4- European painting 17th century: Rubens, Ribera, Velázquez, Murillo.

5- The 18th century and Goya. His beginnings at the Court.

7- 19th century: The final stage of Goya. 

Join me in diving into the great treasure housed in the Prado Museum, understanding the different historical contexts and the relationship between one work and another, learning a lot while having fun :)

How much does this tour cost?
Free tours do not have a set price; instead, each person gives the guide at the end the amount they deem appropriate (usually amounts range between €10 and €50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).

*You must arrive at the meeting point with the museum ticket already purchased. I recommend buying it online through https://entradas.museodelprado.es/ or purchasing it the day before in person at the museum to avoid delays in our entry.
**This tour is conducted with small groups of a maximum of 7 people, ensuring a familiar and close dynamic :)
***If you cannot attend the tour, please CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION, as otherwise, you will be leaving another fellow traveler without a spot on the tour.
