I love to travel and experience new places, people and activities. I play the guitar, and I make music (occasionally). I act in a theatre, and no matter if my wallet says no, I will join whichever food spot you recommend.

Tour description

Welcome to Frankfurt!

Quick note: I will only cancel the tour if fewer than 3 people sign up.

The city of contrasts, extravagance, history, and money.
Although Frankfurt is a relatively small metropolis, it offers a wide range of attractions and a lot of culture.

Our tour begins at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (easily accessible, right in the city center), takes us to the Old Opera House, through the banking district, and onto Roßmarkt/Goetheplatz.
From there, we head towards the Main River, passing the Paulskirche to reach the Römerberg, the heart of Frankfurt's old town. We will also find ourselves in front of the Frankfurt Cathedral before crossing the Main via the Iron Bridge. On the other side of the Main, in Sachsenhausen, our tour ends with a traditional Frankfurt apple wine (about 5% alcohol) by the river.

At each stop, I will tell you a bit of history and trivia, give you tips for further worthwhile activities, and show you photo spots.

The tour will last about 2 hours, with a walking time of approximately 1 hour.

Overview:

  • Tour through the city center with Stock Exchange, Opera, and banking district
  • Frankfurt's old town with Römer, Cathedral, and Paulskirche
  • End in Sachsenhausen, one of the cultural hotspots in Frankfurt.
  • 2-hour duration, about 1 hour of walking

I would be very pleased to bring Frankfurt closer to you as a local and show you that Frankfurt is an underrated metropolis in the heart of Germany.

Important: Feel free to write to me if only another time is possible for you or for individual group appointments. Thank you in advance!

See you on the next tour!
