I am Ali, and I am excited to share my passion for travel and culture with you. As a passionate traveller and explorer, I have been fortunate enough to visit many incredible places around the world, and I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge and experiences with others. For the past three years, I have been living in Hiroshima, Japan, immersing myself in the local customs and traditions. I have been selected as "Tourism Ambassador" in Hiroshima by the Hiroshima Tourism Association. As an anthropologist and traveller, I have a deep appreciation for the unique history and culture of Hiroshima, and I am eager to share my knowledge with others. With a background in anthropology, I possess a wealth of knowledge and insights into different cultures. What sets me apart from other hosts is my ability to connect with people from all walks of life. My passion for hiking and photography fuels my desire to seek out the best the local area has to offer, and I am committed to sharing my insider tips and local secrets with each and every client.
Immerse yourself in the captivating tapestry of Hiroshima's history as you embark on an unforgettable journey through its timeless tales and iconic landmarks. Delve into the city's rich heritage alongside a passionate anthropologist, guided by an expert deeply immersed in the cultural legacy of Hiroshima.
Our immersive walking tour takes you on a poignant exploration of Hiroshima's past, with a particular focus on the lasting impact of the atomic bombing. Commencing our expedition in the evocative surroundings of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, you'll encounter powerful monuments, including the haunting yet resilient Atomic Bomb Dome, the Cenotaph for the A-bomb Victims, and the Peace Bell. Each of these monuments tells a powerful story, offering a unique perspective on the impact of the bomb and honoring the memory of those affected.
I will be by the Gates of Peace.
