Anna was a great guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable and informative about a topic which is so complex and sensitive. Everyone was very engaged and she took time to put the conflict into context and humanise it. Very informative on general tips and hints about Madrid too. I can thoroughly recommend both the tour and Anna as a guide.

Ana was a brilliant guide whose energy, passion for the topic, and humour ensured the group was engaged throughout this two and a half hour walking tour. It was amazing to discover how much history from the Spanish civil war is right under the noses of the unsuspecting tourists who visit Madrid each year. Were it not for Ana, I wouldn’t have appreciated the significance of so many seemingly ordinary buildings, streets, and public spaces.
