Tour description

Good morning and welcome to Turin!

In this free walking tour you will discover where the light of Turin shines, visiting its most important squares, admiring its elegant architecture and discovering the people and places that make this city so magnetically attractive, despite the modest nature of its inhabitants.

We'll depart from Piazza della Consolata, a symbolic and sacred site of Christianity in the city, to visit the church of the city's second patron saint, the most beloved by the people of Turin.

- We will continue until we reach the Porta Palatina area, with the remains of one of the entrance gates to the Roman camp.

- We will visit the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, where one of the most important symbols of divine light is preserved, but not visible: the Holy Shroud.

- We will continue the walk through Piazzetta Reale and Piazza Castello.

- We will cross the pedestrian area of Via Roma and arrive in Turin's most elegant square: Piazza San Carlo.

- Then we will take you to the squares inextricably linked to the unification of Italy: Piazza Carignano and Piazza Carlo Alberto.

-The tour will end in one of the most beautiful corners of the historic center!

Please note: this tour is not suitable for families with small children, strollers, or those with mobility impairments or those not accustomed to walking.
