This tour will take you to the most distinctive spots in Shenzhen from the perspective of a local insider. We’ll explore not only popular main attractions but also hidden gems that commercial tour groups don’t visit—places I believe truly show Shenzhen’s spirit. E.g. residential neighborhoods, local food, and scenic greenways.

Having lived here 20+ years, I’m passionate about sharing every insight I’ve gathered.

1. Civic Center: The iconic spot in Shenzhen, a must-visit attaction.

2. Lianhua Hill Park: One of the biggest park in city center. It offers splendid urban skyline views.

3. Xia Sha Urban Village: Experience striking contrasts between shopping malls, upscale residential areas, and urban villages. See the past and now. Discover local life.

4. Meilin Food Market: Explore the biggest local food market in city center. Discover what locals eat in their daily life.
