Free tour of Asturian Pre-Romanesque
Discover Asturian pre-Romanesque art in the heart of Asturias' capital with us!
Do you want to uncover its mysteries? We will tell you all about them.
Between the 8th and 10th centuries, a unique art form emerged in the kingdom of Asturias, with slight Visigothic, Mozarabic, and Carolingian influences.
We will meet at the Pre-Romanesque Interpretation Center, then head up to see two of the monuments declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO: Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo, set in an idyllic landscape where you can enjoy wonderful views of Oviedo from Mount Naranco. There, we will tell you about their history, mysteries, and details that should not go unnoticed.
