Free walking tour in the most authentic Hanoi: culture, history, and local life
The Old Quarter of Hanoi is a place steeped in history, culture, and local life. Dating back over 1,000 years, this vibrant heart is the perfect stop to discover the authentic soul of Vietnam.
Our passionate local guides will accompany you through alleys rich in history, flavors, and colors. All in Italian, Spanish, or English!
What will you see during this tour?
1. Monument to the Fallen – A symbol of national valor and history.
2. Ba Kieu Temple: temple of the three goddesses who are important figures in popular beliefs.
3. Ngoc Son Temple: sacred temple in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake (visit only the exterior). Visit the interior with a ticket of 50,000 VND per person
4. Ta Hien Street – “Beer Street” with a lively atmosphere, frequented by backpackers and local nightlife.
5. O Quan Chuong Gate - Ancient city gate that still retains its 18th-century structure.
6. Thanh Ha Market: an authentic and local corner, less touristy.
7. Dong Xuan Market: the largest covered market in Hanoi, ideal for discovering the true rhythm of the city.
8. Hang Ma Street: one of the most important among the 36 streets and guilds of Hanoi.
9. St. Joseph's Cathedral: It is considered the mini Notre Dame of Hanoi with its splendid Gothic style, the French colonial influence is very evident.
10. Egg coffee ☕ Enjoy the typical drink: creamy, sweet, and unique.
