Central Park afternoon walking tour

Take a walking tour of Central Park, starting at the South end of the park and ending at the Dakota Apartments, where John Lennon lived.   We will see key landmarks in the part including Bethesda Terrace fountain, numerous statues, Strawberry Fields, the Boathouse and the Sheep Meadow.   The pace will be leisurely with plenty of opportunities for memorable photos and convenient rest room breaks.   My aim is to give you a fun experience, with some information added, but not a history lesson.   There won't be a test at the end of the tour, just good times!

The tour lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes

Central Park ZooThe 6.5 acre Central Park Zoo sits near the southeastern entrance to the Park. The main zoo houses monkeys, polar bears, penguins, sea lions and much more. The Children's Zoo, added in 1961, is across from the main zoo near the Delacorte Clock. Our aim is to be at the clock before it is activated on the half hour.
