This free tour invites you to explore the historic streets of Buenos Aires, rediscovering the women who left an indelible mark on Argentine history. From independence heroines like Juana Azurduy, to political figures like Eva Perón and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, to activists like the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo, iconic artists like Mercedes Sosa, and iconic figures like Mafalda. We'll also meet educators and scientists who transformed the country, such as Juana Manso and Cecilia Grierson.
For 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will walk through emblematic neighborhoods such as Monserrat, San Telmo, and Puerto Madero, visiting iconic places such as Plaza de Mayo, Manzana de las Luces, the Mafalda statue, the Mercedes Sosa Cultural Center, the Puente de la Mujer, the Plaza Mujeres Argentinas, among others.
