Free Tour of the City of Arts and Sciences
Tour description
On this two-hour tour, we will explore the impressive architecture of Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, while revealing the stories and curiosities that make this complex a global benchmark.
We will start at the Umbracle, an elevated garden with panoramic views, before crossing the imposing the Assut de l'Or bridge, which connects two of the most futuristic buildings in the complex: the Ágora, now Caixaforum, a vibrant cultural space, and the Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe.
We will delve into the fascinating world of science at the Príncipe Felipe Museum, with its architecture inspired by a dinosaur skeleton, and admire the striking structure of the Hemisfèric, the eye of Valencia. The route will also take us to the majestic Palau de les Arts, the city's opera house, where art and modernity merge.
Did you know that the City of Arts and Sciences has been the setting for numerous film productions? Its futuristic aesthetic has made it the ideal backdrop for films.
We will end our tour in the Rose Garden to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the City of Arts.
