Tour description

Málaga Through My Eyes – A Walk into History, Art & Local Secrets.

Ready to discover Málaga like never before? This isn’t your average tour — it’s a journey through time, art, and local secrets, led by someone who truly lives and breathes this city.

We’ll start at the Larios monument on the famous Calle Larios — the vibrant heart of Málaga — and make our way through its most iconic spots.

I’ll guide you to the stunning Cathedral known as La Manquita, and the ancient Roman Theatre, where echoes of the Empire still whisper through the stones.

You'll even stand in front of the house where Pablo Picasso was born and hear stories from his early life that shaped a legend.

Next, we’ll stroll to the historic Plaza de la Constitución, a lively square full of hidden tales, and finally end our walk at the colorful central market — a place full of flavors, aromas, and everyday life.

But this tour is more than monuments. Along the way, I’ll share local culture, traditions, and habits — the little things that make Málaga feel so alive.

Expect fun facts, surprising stories, and real insight into the city’s soul. If you're looking for more than just dates and facts — if you want to feel Málaga — walk with me.

Let’s turn your visit into a story worth remembering!

Highlights

What will we see on this tour?

Meeting point:
Monument to the Marquis of Larios
I will be standing by the Larios monument (at the beggining of street Larios), holding a pink umbrella.
1
Outside visit
Cathedral of the Incarnation of Malaga
Our next stop is the Cathedral of Málaga, one of the city’s most important landmarks. Built mainly in the Renaissance style, the cathedral is nicknamed La Manquita (“the One-Armed Lady”) because its south tower was never completed. This gives the building its unique and recognizable shape.
2
Outside visit
Roman Theater of Malaga
Our walk continues at the Roman Theatre of Málaga, the city’s oldest monument. Built in the 1st century BC during the reign of Emperor Augustus, it was used for performances and public events for several centuries before falling into ruin.
3
Outside visit
Picasso Birthplace Museum
Another highlight of our walk is the Birthplace of Pablo Picasso, located on Plaza de la Merced. This 19th-century house is where the world-famous artist was born in 1881 and spent the early years of his life.
