Hey! Hello everyone. I'm a certified city guide for Santa Marta. I have nearly eight years of experience as a guide in the city and surrounding areas, and the last four as a translator for the Lost City tour. I love the history, diversity, culture, and nature that Santa Marta, its Sierra Nevada, and national parks offer. I'm especially passionate about nature tourism, such as hiking to waterfalls or hidden beaches, exploring the Tayrona Mountains, or exploring the mountains. I'm always eager to find incredible places and experiences!

Tour description

Join me as we explore one of the hidden gems of our beautiful Santa Marta: the Ziruma pedestrian trail and the El Rodadero tourist district.
If you're an early riser, adventurous, and a lover of the outdoors and local experiences, this tour is for you.
During our walk from Parque de Los Novios, we will pass along Carrera Cuarto, past the Fire Station, the traditional El Prado neighborhood, the river, and the Manzanares neighborhood, until we reach the Los Trupillos Vacation Center, where we will then find the entrance to the pedestrian path right next to it. The pedestrian path ends at a point known locally as "Rodadero Verde." There, we will have reached El Rodadero and completed the pedestrian path. Along the way, we will make several stops to enjoy the views, rest, take photos, and learn history and information about the city and its tourist destinations.
We will end our tour on the main beach of El Rodadero with an invitation to continue enjoying El Rodadero and our city.
End time: 9:45 AM
Recommendations:

  • Bring hydration
  • Comfortable clothes for walking
  • Sunscreen and/or sun hat
  • Bring money for any extra consumption at the location or on the way, or transportation back to the center
The Free Tour is free; tips for the guide are entirely voluntary.
