Hi - We did the walk in English. Karel was excellent. As he showed us the historical highlights of the Old Town, we enjoyed a rich discussion about Gibraltar's past and present. He answered all our questions, not just like a tourist guide, but honestly and frankly, dealing with issues like the recent corruption scandal and telling interesting stories from his personal past about the time when Franco blockaded the border. Kudos. I liked how Karel pulled no punches and did not sugarcoat both the challenges and opportunities of Gibraltar's special status.
