Tour description

If you have little time to explore the Historic Center of Guatemala City, this afternoon tour will allow you to discover emblematic spots of the city, some frozen in time. Learn about its fascinating history, layout, configuration, and evolution of the city from the main square, now the heart of the city's Historic Center.

You will learn about the history of the square's iconic buildings such as the National Palace of Culture, the Portal of the Sixth, we will enter the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Central Market, and the Portal of Commerce where we will walk through the Rubio Passage that will take us to the old Calle Real, now the emblematic Sixth Avenue. You will walk on a pedestrian avenue full of history and iconic buildings, such as the La Perla building, the Lux Theater, and why not also get to know the Post Office Arch.
