I come from five generations of New Yorkers, which means the city is quite literally in my blood. Besides being a Gold Star licensed NYC tour guide, I am a playwright, performer, and experience designer. All of my work is rooted in the belief that stories help us understand one another and build genuine connection. I love this city because every facade, pathway, and quiet corner holds a human story waiting to be shared, and when we explore these places together they become richer and more alive. If you walk with me, I will show you both the highlights and the hidden details, along with the small moments of connection that turn a simple tour into something more meaningful, and I hope you leave feeling a little more rooted in the place, its stories, and the people around you.

Tour description
Step into the world behind Broadway’s bright lights on this small-group walking tour of New York City’s Theatre District. Led by a Gold Star licensed guide, former Broadway house manager, playwright, and fifth-generation New Yorker, this tour goes beyond theater façades to explore how Broadway actually works, from backstage labor and creative power struggles to reinvention, preservation battles, and the everyday lives of the people who make the shows happen.
We’ll trace the history of Times Square and theatre in NYC, uncover how Broadway evolved into a global industry, and pull back the curtain on insider stories you won’t find on a plaque or Wikipedia page. Along the way, we’ll slip through hidden pedestrian passages, talk about legendary theaters and controversial developments, explore Broadway’s relationship with tourism and commerce, and visit beloved community spaces like the Drama Book Shop, famously championed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and the theater community.
This is not a lecture, it’s a shared and interactive experience. Expect Broadway trivia, friendly challenges, and a playful Tony-style award ceremony at the end of the walk. And because no real Broadway day is complete without food, the tour includes a built-in pizza stop at a favorite local spot.
Whether you’re a lifelong theater fan or brand new to musicals, this tour is designed to be fun, accessible, and deeply human, offering an insider’s look at Broadway as a living ecosystem—not just a street of theaters.
