Tour description
The streets of Avilés whisper stories that reflect the passage of time. Let yourself be carried away by them and enjoy a comprehensive stroll where you'll discover an incredible city.
You'll take a complete tour of the Villa del Adelantado, learning about the most important events in its history. We'll begin with the great admiral Pedro Menéndez de Avilés. The following stops will be to visit the old and new churches of Sabugo and learn about their respective legends.
Little by little we will delve into the market that dates back to the time of the Catholic Monarchs and is still maintained.
From Plaza de España we began to explore the most beautiful streets of Avilés: Galiana, Rivero, La Ferrería... telling incredible stories about its medieval past.
We will end the tour at the newly restored section of the wall.
