Free Seongsu Walking Tour: A City of Old and New (especially for FIRST-TIME VISITORS)
Seongsu is often called the “Brooklyn of Seoul”—once an industrial hub in the 1960s, now transformed into one of Korea’s trendiest neighborhoods.
This tour is designed as an easy, welcoming introduction for first-time visitors, even if you know nothing about Seongsu! Of course, even if you’ve visited Seongsu before, this tour will still be helpful with plenty of local tips and insights.
We’ll take a relaxed walk for about 1.5~2 hours, exploring the unique mix of old factories, trendy cafes, local shops, and hidden spots that define the area today.
As a local who has lived in Seongsu for years, I’ll also share my personal recommendations for great cafes, restaurants, and places you might not find on your own—so you can continue exploring even after the tour ends.
