Forget everything you’ve heard about "time travel." I’ll show you the real Tiraspol — a city where Soviet history meets modern life. This isn’t a boring historical lecture; it’s a lively walk with a local who knows every corner and every story.
What we will explore:
- The Heart of the City: We’ll start at Suvorov Square and talk about how it all began.
- Soviet Heritage: We’ll visit the famous Tank Monument and the massive Lenin statue to understand the symbols of our past.
- River Vibes: A stroll through De Volan Park for a great view of the Dniester River.
- Local Life: I’ll share how we live today, where we hang out, and show you some hidden spots that aren't in the guidebooks.
Please bring about $3-4 for small expenses: a trolleybus ticket (approx. $0.40) and maybe some local tasting at the market.
