Free walking tour in ITALIAN of Saqqara & Dahshur: Where It All Began.

Our tour is a chronological and spiritual journey. Here are the stops that will transform your vision of Ancient Egypt:
The Djoser (The Spark) Complex : We'll start where the stone came to life. We'll explore the funerary enclosure and the Step Pyramid, the "mother" of all pyramids.
The Serapeum of Apis (The Underground Mystery) : We will descend into the bowels of the earth to admire the colossal granite sarcophagi dedicated to the Apis bulls. A unique place, shrouded in age-old mysteries and inexplicable engineering precision.
The Pyramid of Teti : We will enter the heart of the Pyramid of Teti. Although it looks like a hill from the outside, its interior hides precious treasures: the famous Pyramid Texts, hieroglyphics engraved to guide the pharaoh to the stars.
The Tombs of the Nobles : Not just kings! We'll visit the mastabas of Teti's attendants, such as Kagemni and Niankhkhnum (Nkaw-Essi). Here, the walls speak: we'll see incredible bas-reliefs depicting scenes of royal life, hunting, and fishing from 4,000 years ago.
Dahshur: We'll move on to Dahshur to admire the final evolution. We'll see the Bent Pyramid, with its unique shape due to a "project change" during construction, and the Red Pyramid, the first smooth-sided pyramid ever built.
Typical Lunch : We'll end our adventure off the beaten path. I'll take you to enjoy a genuine Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant—no tourist buffets.

📌 Useful Information for Your Visit
🚗 Transportation: Saqqara and Dahshur are in rural areas and Uber is unreliable. A private car is recommended. If you need help arranging one, let me know!
Saqqara and Dahshur are about 10km apart , for this tour we will need a means of transport (private car or taxi).
