Free Tour of Mysteries and Legends of Cologne

On our free tour of Cologne's mysteries and legends, we'll take you to discover the secrets of the city on the Rhine. A route as spooky as it is fun! 💀😈😱

📍 Where can you find us?
To begin your mysterious adventure in Cologne, we'll meet outside the Central Station (Dom/Hauptbahnhof) 🚅 where your guide will be waiting with their green and white umbrella ⚪🟢 Each stop opens a window to stories that have survived the test of time, blending tradition, mystery and a touch of darkness.

✨Here's just a taste of what you'll see on this route:
🔹 We will start by talking about the lesser-known side of the cathedral ⛪ setting the tone for the tour.
🔹From there we will delve into corners linked to ancient trades, enigmatic figures and symbols that have accompanied the city for centuries, such as the historic Dombauhütte and the discreet but intriguing Petrusbrunnen ⛲
🔹The path will lead us to the old Rathaus, the city hall, where evil pacts and witchcraft will make us shudder 👺
🔹From there we will move on to learn about a story of love and failure 💔
🔹Later on, we'll discover the dangers of a profession that's still very common today, and how beer also has its dark side 🍺
🔹Before closing the tour at the Rheingarten, we will tell you the story of the Rhine mermaid, who will bid us farewell with a final legendary whisper 🧜🏻‍♀️

An itinerary full of atmospheres, curiosities and stories that invite you to see Cologne with different eyes 👀

Meeting point:bahnhofsvorplatzWe'll be waiting for you at Bahnhofsvorplatz (you can find that on Google Maps), at the bottom of the steps on the left side of Cologne Cathedral, as you exit the Central Station. You should be able to see the words "Hauptbahnhof" in large letters above the glass wall 🚄. The guides usually wait very close to a bakery/café called Kamps. We'll be carrying a green and white umbrella, so you can't miss us. It's important not to confuse this with the main entrance of the Cathedral (a common mistake, but it's not the right place 😉).Open in Google Maps
