We’ll finish at Namba Yasaka Shrine—a giant lion-headed shrine that feels equal parts sacred and surreal.

I currently work as a language teacher and tour guide, and on my days off I like to take day trips and explore the beautiful Kansai region. I am passionate about culture, history and food (seriously I will eat pretty much anything!).
My greatest challenge currently is leaning Japanese, especially Kanji, but I'm enjoying the process of learning such a different language.
