Tour description
Leipzig is one of the most beautiful major cities in Germany. Over 1,000 years of history. I would love to show you my city, Leipzig.
At the St. Thomas Church, you will hear about the life and work of the St. Thomas Cantor Johann Sebastian Bach. Follow the scent of coffee to the house "Zum Arabischen Coffeebaum".
In Barthels Hof, you will learn about the trade fair history of Leipzig. Stroll over the market with the Old Town Hall, one of the most beautiful Renaissance buildings in Germany.
The Mädler Passage with the world-famous Auerbach's Cellar is a must-see. Here, Johann Wolfgang Goethe caroused and found inspiration for his life's work.
On the idyllic Naschmarkt stands the monument to the student Goethe. He did a lot in Leipzig, but studying was not really one of them. The Old Stock Exchange at Naschmarkt tells about the trading city of Leipzig.
Admire the exotic Riquet House before you can marvel at the colorful mosaics in Specks Hof.
At the St. Nicholas Church, the oldest church in the city, you will learn all about the autumn of '89, the Peaceful Revolution.
