Tour description
On this tour, we will visit the Senso-ji Temple, and I will tell you about its rituals and history, as well as that of its surroundings. Is there only one temple, or are there more? Can you pray inside? How did it withstand so many natural disasters?
We will start with a visit to the place where the legend of the Senso-ji Temple was born. We will walk along the bustling Nakamise shopping street with its wonderful variety of products. We will learn about the different entrances and the guardians that protect the temple. We will perform the purification ritual before entering. We will continue the tour towards the surrounding structures, and I will tell you about the stories they hold.
To conclude, we will explore the center of the Asakusa neighborhood, where you can find incredible places to eat and shop.
