Kotoha, was a lovely local who showed us Asakusa/ Sensoji, told stories of the language, the area, and how Buddhism became a religion in Japan. She showed us some of the main back streets in Asakusa, street food outlets that are preferred by locals and also run by locals which was a nice touch to the tour. She's very helpful, offering to take pictures of us throughout the tour, for example.

Our guide Sachi is a Tokyo native who knows every corner of the neighbourhood, and that local knowledge made all the difference. She brought Asakusa's history to life — from the iconic Senso-ji Temple to Japanese traditions, religion, and culture — in a way no guidebook ever could with full of humour. The most memorable moment? Sachi shared photos of her great-great-grandparents who were residents of Tokyo in their traditional clothes! If you're visiting Tokyo, highly recommend this tour. Sachi was an amazing tour guide. Her explanations were both informative and entertaining, and she shared many interesting historical insights that brought the area to life. She also took the time to explain the proper way to pray at Sensō-ji, which made the experience even more meaningful. The pace was relaxed and comfortable, and the tour lasted about two hours—just the right amount of time.

The guide was excellent. Even though the route was very crowded and busy she was able to give information and point out important sights.

A great tour which we did on our first day in Japan. Great route, explanations and just general chats about what it is like living in Japan. There was a festival on that weekend so we also got to see them practicing for that. Well worth doing and our guide went over and beyond the time allocated to ensure we had a really good tour. Book it and you won't regret it.

El tour está bien, aunque quizás al llevar un tiempo en Japón no me parecieron tan interesantes los datos. Igualmente creo que es un buen tour para primera toma de contacto con Tokio
