Our trip today with Loc, in Asakusa district, was extraordinary, better than expected! So much more to understand and appreciate, when guided by a person who knows in depth the history and culture of the place. On top of that, we had great fun. Highly recommended!

This 2 hour tour was a perfect introduction to Senso-ji temple and the areas surrounding it. Rio shared information on history, culture, beliefs and ceremonies. It was busy but I enjoyed being at the temple on Sunday as many local families were there. Visiting the side streets like Hoppy Street was a real eye opener. Recommending 10/10

Our guide Jack was very knowledgeable about Tokyo and Japanese culture and religion. I learned a lot about modern day customs and festivals, especially the differences between Buddhism and Shinto religious practices of the Japanese people. Jack was engaging throughout and also encouraged other members of the tour to interact with each other and share local tips and experiences.

I had an amazing time on the Guru Walk with Manabu. He is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and engaging, making every story and fact come alive. The tour was well-organized and the places we visited were carefully chosen to complement the topics. I learned a lot and even discovered things I didn’t expect, which made the experience both educational and surprisingly fun. I highly recommend this walk to anyone who wants a thoughtful, interactive, and memorable way to explore the city with a passionate guide.

This tour is rightly highly rated on Guruwalk. Our guide, Manabu, was very good. Professional, clear, communicative and interesting, the route he took us on was fun and a good way to learn about the Asakusa area. Though I'd been to Asakusa many times before, I'd never been on a tour of the area so this was a very good way to learn about it! 10/10
