SEOUL COMPLETE CENTER: Essentials for Your First Day in Korea
Description
Is it possible to discover much of downtown Seoul in a single morning, without rushing and in a small group?
This walk is designed for travelers who want to get to know the city in a closer, calmer, and more authentic way.
We will walk calmly while talking about Korean history, curiosities, daily life, and all those little details that help better understand what life is really like in Korea.
The idea is not to rush from one place to another, but to enjoy Seoul at a different pace ❤️
The itinerary:
- Deoksugung: a palace with a unique mix of tradition and modernity (we will see it from the outside).
- Seoul City Hall: the perfect contrast between past and present.
- Cheonggyecheon Stream: we will stroll along the city's most famous urban oasis (weather permitting 😔).
- 40th Anniversary Monument of Gojong (Bigak): a small historical corner that often goes unnoticed.
- Gwanghwamun Square: the historical heart of Seoul and its famous statues of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
- Gyeongbokgung: the most important palace of the Joseon dynasty (we will also see it from the outside).
- First Post Office of Korea: one of those curious little places that many people pass by without noticing.
- Jogyesa Temple: one of the most peaceful and colorful spots in downtown Seoul.
- Insadong: streets full of tradition, art, tea houses, and local atmosphere.
Maximum 5 people 🌟
Being such a small group, we can adjust the pace of the walk, chat calmly, ask questions, take beautiful photos, and truly enjoy the experience.
It is an ideal tour for those who prefer quiet groups and a more personal experience 😊
Yes... we start a little early...
We start at 9:00 AM to enjoy Seoul before the Korean sun starts to take its toll and we all end up melting in the city 🫠
We finish around 11:30 🍵
At that time, there are still fewer people, and we will be in the heart of Insadong, one of the most beautiful and pleasant areas to continue exploring Seoul at a leisurely pace.
The walk ends next to a beautiful traditional tea house hidden among gardens, a small oasis of peace in the heart of the city ❤️
During the tour, I will also share personal recommendations for cafes, restaurants, museums, Korean cosmetics, and interesting places to continue enjoying Seoul like locals.
Perfect plan! 😊
